All tours run weekday mornings. Tour start times are 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 or 10:30. Availability is on a first come first serve basis. Bookings should be made as early as possible. Rates & Guidelines Children 3-14 years $5.50+HST (includes a child size ice-cream cone of your choice) Adults $6.95+HST (includes a single ice-cream cone of your choice) Teacher and up to 3 chaperones are free; they pay only for their ice-cream cone. Children under 6 must have one chaperone for every 5 children. For children over 6, there must be one chaperone for every 10 children. For groups of 14 people and under (not including teacher or chaperones) there will be a flat fee of $90.00 + HST. You will enjoy an approximate 45 minute guided tour around our farm. We will visit the cow barn, learn about the recycling, and proceed to the milking area and the calf barn. After the tour, each person will receive an ice-cream cone of his or her choice, which is included in the cost of the tour. You are then free to wonder around the grounds on your own or visit our country store where we serve light lunches, farm fresh dairy products, produce and more. The children can play at their own risk on the swings and enjoy the farm animal petting area. I have read and understand the rates and guidelines of Birchwood Dairy’s group tours and agree to abide by those guidelines. I also accept responsibility for my group that they will adhere to the rules of the tour guide.
